Acoma Native American Pottery Polychrome Kokopelli Seed Pot by Priscilla Jim

An impeccable piece of pottery that truly stands out on it's own, this Native American Polychrome Seed Pot is a masterclass in intricate design! Made by Acoma artist Priscilla Jim, she crafted this pot by stacking hand coiled rings of clay on top of each other, and scraping everything together smooth to create the shape. She then opened a small hole at the top, painted an intricate interlocking design featuring the fertility deity of Native American lore, and then fired it to seal everything together. This pot is 2" by 4-5/8", and is signed on the bottom by the artist, as well as the location of Acoma, NM. This Acoma Native American Pottery Polychrome Kokopelli Seed Pot by Priscilla Jim is brilliant pottery craftsmanship at it's finest!

While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. Alltribes Native American Art and Jewelry blends ancient history, natural beauty, and unparalleled expertise flawlessly. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time. We are more than happy to offer curbside pickup if you are in the area, give us a call.

Our dazzling, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise comes from a nearby mine in Globe, AZ. This unique and exceedingly rare turquoise is renowned for its hardness, durability, and gorgeous color. Our artisans preserve the natural beauty of this precious stone, so you can admire its elegance for years to come. A hand buffed polish protects the stones and heightens its natural beauty.
