Acoma Polychrome Pueblo Pottery

This Acoma Polychrome Pueblo Pottery by Antonio is distinguished by its perfect mix of beauty and balance. Hand built with coils of clay, it was pinched smooth and shaped. The traditional graphics were free-hand painted with a yucca brush and as you can see, they're simply beautiful! It's 6-5/8" tall and 7-1/4" wide and is signed underneath. A focal point for your home or office, this Acoma Polychrome Pueblo Pottery is one of a kind!

Mary (1962-  ) of the Roadrunner Clan has been active since 1977. She is an accomplished artisan who learned from her mother, Hilda Antonio. Her grandmother was Eva Histia, sister-in-law to Lucy Lewis. She is referenced in Schaaf's "Southern Pueblo Pottery 2000 Artist Biographies".
