Authentic Hopi Pottery Double Spout Server by Alta Yesslith

Hand coiled clay and traditional Pueblo designs are what elevate this Hopi Pottery into a work of art. Each composition of hand painted geometrics are different from the each other from pot to pot. They represent patterns of life and nature in a stylized language; animals, landscapes, and the order of the universe. This double spout form is like a creamer or gravy dish. Created and signed by Hopi artist Alta Yesslith. This double spout design is 5-3/4" wide and about 3-3/4" tall. Sometimes its the little things in life that give us so much joy, and this Hopi Double Spout Server is one of them.

Alta Yesslith, originally from Keams Canyon, Arizona, is the daughter in law of famed Frog Woman potter, Joy Navasie. She started making pottery years ago and is still active today. Her husband, Dan Tsinnijinnie Yesslith, often works with Alta on the pottery.

While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. Alltribes Native American Art and Jewelry blends ancient history, natural beauty, and unparalleled expertise flawlessly. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time. Our dazzling, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise comes from a nearby mine in Globe, AZ. This unique and exceedingly rare turquoise is renowned for its hardness, durability, and gorgeous color. Our artisans preserve the natural beauty of this precious stone, so you can admire its elegance for years to come. A hand buffed polish protects the stones and heightens its natural beauty.
