This Hopi Crow Mother Kachina Doll was hand carved and painted by Milton Howard, a museum quality artisan! It depicts the mother of the Hü Kachinas and is considered, by some, to be the mother of all the supernaturals. All cottonwood, she wears a traditional, decorated shawl with wonderful tassel accents. More details include: tall moccasins, an offering for the bean planting, a turquoise case mask face framed in red and twisted yarn, and more eagle feathers to accent. Included is a red fox fur ruff on her neck. Standing over cliff dwellings, it's 9-1/2" tall and 4-3/4" wide, and is signed and hallmarked on the base.
