This Navajo Overlaid Silver Turquoise Pendant displays a genuine blue, Kingman nugget...and it is gorgeous! It's bezel set on a traditional, hammered Sterling design with a predominance of tail feathers. It's 3" long & 1-7/8" wide (includes 14mm bale) and comes with a silver-tone bead necklace that you can upgrade to Desert Pearls for an additional fee. Designed and built from two layers of metal by Rose (Tommy's wife), it's stamped Sterling & hallmarked. Tommy (1940-2014) was born into the Tall House Clan in Dilkon, Arizona. He was taught by his father & became an award winning and innovative silversmith. As he progressed, his jewelry just got better! He worked closely with his wife, Rosita and other family members, Charlie, Richard and Willie, who continue his legacy today. All are referenced in Wright's "Hallmark's of the Southwest", Schaaf's "American Indian Jewelry I and III" & Hougart's "Native American & Southwestern Silver Hallmarks" to name a few.
