Navajo Silver Bear Paw Bolo Tie Hand Hammered Patterns by Thomas Begay

This Navajo Silver Bear Paw Bolo Tie depicts a traditional tribal image that appeal to both Native American enthusiasts and nature lovers! Skillfully cut out with a hand saw and then stamped with Thomas' own handmade stamps, the magnificent Bear Paw symbol is centered on a shield that is 2" long and 1-5/8" wide at the top. Finished with a satin buffing, it comes on a 4-ply leather cord and including the tips, it's about 44" long. Crafted from German Silver, it's hallmarked by Thomas A Begay. This Navajo Silver Bear Paw Bolo Tie is the perfect neck-wear for any occasion!

Thomas (1955- ) was born in Many Farms, AZ. He learned the traditional style from his father but eventually switched over to Hopi overlay, a style that he has loved for as long as he could remember. His wife, Ilene (1948- ) sometimes helps him with the stamping.

While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. Alltribes Native American Art and Jewelry blends ancient history, natural beauty, and unparalleled expertise flawlessly. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time. We are more than happy to offer curbside pickup if you are in the area, give us a call.

Our dazzling, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise comes from a nearby mine in Globe, AZ. This unique and exceedingly rare turquoise is renowned for its hardness, durability, and gorgeous color. Our artisans preserve the natural beauty of this precious stone, so you can admire its elegance for years to come. A hand buffed polish protects the stones and heightens its natural beauty.
