Vintage Hopi Tewa Pottery Bowl

This Vintage Hopi Tewa Pottery Bowl by Bessie Namoki, is part of a private collection we purchased of her work. Attributed to Bessie, it was hand built and painted with symbolic rain patterns that are similar to some of her other pieces. It's about 3" tall and 5-5/8" wide. There is some wear with a few chips and some paint loss, and an old sticker is still attached to bottom. Circa 1950's, this Vintage Hopi Tewa Pottery Bowl is authentic, Native American artistry for your home or office!

Bessie (1922-2010) of Polacca, AZ was active from the mid to late 20th century. She is referenced in Schaaf's, "Hopi-Tewa Pottery, 500 Artist Biographies".

We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time.
