Old West Padlock Working Replica Keen Kutter Santa Fe Old West Lock

A true piece of American History, this E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter lock and key set is an incredibly well made working replica. It's a big one too, made exactly the way they made them in the old west. This lock was made from brass and it's meant to last a lifetime! The cast logo on the front says, "E.C. Simmons KEEN KUTTER". On the back it says, "Santa Fe". Along the shackle it's labeled E.C Simmons and St. Louis, USA. It comes with a pair of matching skeleton keys, and the lock really works. The lock is 2" wide by 3-5/8" tall. The keys are both 2-1/4" long. Don't let this one pass you by!!!

In 1859 Edward C. Simmons took a job as a clerk with the company Wilson Levering and Waters at the age of twenty. Thirty-nine years later Simmons retired after he changed the face of the wholesale hardware industry, gave the company his own name, and created the top-selling Keen Kutter product line. The success of the Keen Kutter line was no accident or mistake. Simmons took the best products of the company and placed them in the Keen Kutter line for good word of mouth. He then placed the Keen Kutter logo on every product, every package, and every piece of wrapping paper to make the name nationally known. Today the Keen Kutter products are some of the most sought after collector's items in the world.
