Overlaid Sterling Buffalo Belt Buckle

This Overlaid Sterling Buffalo Belt Buckle features the mighty beast of the Plains surrounded by traditional healing symbols. A healing hand, a protection arrow, a Sunface and a Hopi prayer shrine are crafted from two layers of Silver. Hand cut, soldered and then hand etched, the oxidization achieves the beautiful contrast you see. It's 2" by 3" with a 2" keeper. Made by talented Navajo artist, Calvin Peterson, it's stamped Sterling and hallmarked. An exceptional piece of jewelry for anyone, this Overlaid Sterling Buffalo Belt Buckle is an impressive blend of southwest style and high quality craftsmanship.

While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. Alltribes Native American Art and Jewelry blends ancient history, natural beauty, and unparalleled expertise flawlessly. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time. Our dazzling, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise comes from a nearby mine in Globe, AZ. This unique and exceedingly rare turquoise is renowned for its hardness, durability, and gorgeous color. Our artisans preserve the natural beauty of this precious stone, so you can admire its elegance for years to come. A hand buffed polish protects the stones and heightens its natural beauty.
