Sheep Hunter Kindred Mask Wall Display

This Sheep Hunter Kindred Mask Wall Display honors the spirit of the animal that has given so much to sustain tribal life. A scarlet painted face & a generous use of authentic trims sets this apart from ordinary decorator items. The head displays real horse scalp locks and a liberal offering of brown buffalo fur. Additional details are crow & hairpipe bone beads, a medallion with leather thongs at the neck, a headband with red trade cloth & of course, the magnificent curled horns. About 25" long from the top of the plank to the bottom of the buckskin & 16-1/2" wide. Hand built by Dennis Black Wolf for Super Moon, it's hallmarked & numbered 36/200. This Sheep Hunter Kindred Mask Wall Display is great for southwest or rustic decor & it's ready to hang!

While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists of a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Our dazzling, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise comes from a nearby mine in Globe, AZ. This unique and exceedingly rare turquoise is renowned for its hardness, durability, and gorgeous color. Our artisans preserve the natural beauty of this precious stone, so you can admire its elegance for years to come. A hand buffed polish protects the stones and heightens its natural beauty.
