Navajo Yei Rainbow Dancer Vintage Rug 1.8 Feet by 1.7 Feet

This Navajo Yei Rainbow Dancer Vintage Rug is hand woven displaying the Ceremonial Navajo Rainbow Yei called the water sprinkler, the god of precipitated waters. Often used as guardian figures in Navajo sand paintings. Woven with natural and dyed wool, the colors include black, cream, red, and grey. It's finished with a terraced border on the top and bottom. In very good, used condition. Woven about 13 wefts to an inch, it measures 22" x 14". There is no information on the Navajo weaver of this rug. This Navajo Yei Rainbow Dancer Vintage Rug is a perfect rug to begin your collection of authentic Navajo wool rugs!

While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. Alltribes Native American Art and Jewelry blends ancient history, natural beauty, and unparalleled expertise flawlessly. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time. We are more than happy to offer curbside pickup if you are in the area, give us a call.

Our dazzling, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise comes from a nearby mine in Globe, AZ. This unique and exceedingly rare turquoise is renowned for its hardness, durability, and gorgeous color. Our artisans preserve the natural beauty of this precious stone, so you can admire its elegance for years to come. A hand buffed polish protects the stones and heightens its natural beauty.
