Vintage Hopi Heheya Kachina Doll

This Vintage Hopi Heheya Kachina Doll depicts one of the sons of the Ogres. Like them, he sometimes scares the children. Most often seen on Third Mesa, this half round cottonwood wall hanger is hand carved and painted with simple detail. Acquired in a trade lot, circa 1960's, he's 9-1/4" tall and 3" wide with a flat back. This Vintage Hopi Heheya Kachina Doll is one of a kind!
