Vintage Inlaid Zuni Olla Maiden Pendant Bracelet Set

This Vintage Inlaid Zuni Olla Maiden Pendant Bracelet Set was handmade by Madeline Beyuka. This suite honors the dance that the ladies perform to pay homage to the ancestral women, who carried water for daily sustenance. The Sterling is fitted with hand cut tiles that include: Turquoise, Mother of Pearl, Spiny Oyster, Abalone and Jet. There are drop accents on the sides of her skirt. The figure is 2-1/4" tall and 1" at the widest on both pieces. It comes with a complimentary chain, that you can upgrade to Sterling for an additional fee. The bracelet will best fit a 6-1/4" to 6-1/2" wrist. In excellent, used condition, each is hallmarked. For yourself or as a gift, this Vintage Inlaid Zuni Olla Maiden Pendant Bracelet Set will delight any maiden you know!

Madeline (1935- ) was active from 1954 to the 1980's. She was married to Eddie for a time and they collaborated on many pieces. She is referenced in Wright's "Hallmarks of the Southwest", Schaaf's "American Indian Jewelry I and II", Bassman's "Zuni Jewelry" and Hougart's "Native American and Southwest Silver Hallmarks".

We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time. Our dazzling, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise comes from a nearby mine in Globe, AZ. This unique and exceedingly rare turquoise is renowned for its hardness, durability, and gorgeous color. Our artisans preserve the natural beauty of this precious stone, so you can admire its elegance for years to come. A hand buffed polish protects the stones and heightens its natural beauty.
