Vintage Old Style Zuni Corn Kachina
This Vintage Old Style Zuni Corn Kachina is a rarely seen, cross-cultural deity. This younger brother of the Hemis, he appears in Payuma and regular katsina dances. It features the early, traditional style of a black case mask with white spots and a black body. His head is topped with eagle feathers and they also dangle from his arm bands. He wears a sash and ketoh cuff with seashells and a fur ruff and tail. He carries rattles and wears red moccasins. He's 13" tall and 6" wide and in very good condition but some repairs were made previously, circa 1970's. This Vintage Old Style Zuni Corn Kachina is one of a kind!
