Vintage Turquoise Hammered Silver Belt Buckle

This Vintage Turquoise Hammered Silver Belt Buckle by Apache Marc Antia displays a premium weight of Sterling in a dimensional design. He used a 4 lb. ball-pein hammer to create opposing triangle patterns. The designs that surround the stone and the outer edges were hand-struck, as well! It's 3" at its widest with a 1-3/4" keeper. It's hallmarked and stamped Sterling, circa 1980's. An exceptional Native American accessory, this Vintage Turquoise Hammered Silver Belt Buckle is the one you want to wear!

Marc (1950?- ) is a self taught silversmith, who is both Apache and German. He has been making jewelry for decades. He learned his craft along with Emerson Bill, and you can see and feel his influence. He is referenced in Hougart's "Native American and Southwestern Silver Hallmarks".

While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. Alltribes Native American Art and Jewelry blends ancient history, natural beauty, and unparalleled expertise flawlessly. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time.
