Vintage Turquoise Mountain Inlaid Santo Domingo Pipestone Heishi Beaded Necklace

This Turquoise Mountain Santo Domingo Beaded Necklace is a truly rare and unique sight to behold! Made by an unknown jeweler from the Santo Domingo tribe, they created this necklace with beautifully speckled stones from Turquoise Mountain near Kingman, Arizona. The Turquoise is featured in varying matrixes, from the beads strung on the neckline to the 8 crafted inlaid rounded pentagonal planks that hang from the necklace, fashioned out of Pipestone, Bone, and Desert Jasper and Serpentine that mimic the ribbing and color of leaves. Strung on a 27" long rope is 6 mm heishi Turquoise beads, 1-7/8" long planks, signed RC with a leaf hallmark on the back, and this necklace is vintage circa 1970's. While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. Alltribes Native American Art and Jewelry blends ancient history, natural beauty, and unparalleled expertise flawlessly. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time. Our artisans preserve the natural beauty of this precious stone, so you can admire its elegance for years to come. A hand buffed polish protects the stones and heightens its natural beauty.
