Zuni Two Bear Fetish Carved Pink Marble Pen Holder Sculpture

This Native American Bear Fetish carving features two Bears playing tug of war with a tree stump, probably full of grubs. The stump doubles as a pen holder providing a little functionality to this artful form. These Bears have a wonderful style with a gentler, friendlier personality but, still evident is their power and strength. The two Bear design is a favorite subject for this recognizable artist but he or she could not be identified. This traditional tabletop bear totem is carved from pink marble and measures 3-3/4" long by 1-1/2" tall. We can always use a little more art in our lives and this Fetish Bear Carving pen holder will make a nice addition to home or office.

This and other carvings were part of a private collection and were extremely well cared for. The previous owner collected these in the last quarter of the 20th century.
