Red Coat Cigar Store Indian

This Red Coat Cigar Store Indian is American Folk art at it's best! Created by Mandan tribal member, Frank Gallagher, this has been a family tradition for generations. Fully detailed, the hand carved and painted sculpture holds a pack of cigars just as they did in earlier times to advertise tobacconists. The tunic depicts a buffalo standing under the symbols for rain and sun. He's decorated with sacred images of the sun and his long breeches are a colorful contrast of grass green with metallic gold and red hash-marks. Including the pow-wow drum base, it's about 5 feet tall and artist signed (carved) on the back headdress. This Red Coat Cigar Store Indian is really cool and will wow all admirers.....no matter where he stands!

The Gallagher's use Aspen wood from Colorado to create these hand carved sculptures. With your purchase, you will receive a photocopy of an interview with Ralph Gallagher from the original June 1998 Issue of Arizona Highways magazine.

Wow. We ordered this cigar store indian. He showed up today. Packaging was perfect. No damage at all. I uncrated him and brought him in the house. I unwrapped all the wrap and bubble wrap and we couldn't be happier. What beautiful perfect quality work. Now we have a Gallagher in our home. We just did a major remodel in the home, and he is the show piece in the dining room, until the new dining room furniture shows. Bottom line, high quality, excellent packaging and delivery from date of order was around 4 weeks. Extremely satisfied.

I have been looking for years for the right cigar store Indian to adorn the front porch of our log home in western Kentucky. I finally found it at Alltribes. Ken, the salesman was super with assisting me through the order and the shipping company delivered it right to the door. Overall it was a positive experience and I would not hesitate to buy from Alltribes again
