Hopi Hand Carved Cottonwood Feather

This Hopi Hand Carved Cottonwood Feather is a physical expression of Milton Howard's hallmark. You will always see a simpler version of this on the bottom of his collectible kachinas. Diligently detailed, each is painted and stained in somber hues of browns, grays and blacks. At the quill, he added some traditional patterns and colors. A buckskin hanger is included. The time, patience and talent is apparent and each is burned with his initials. About 10-1/2" long and about 2" at the widest. A really nice southwest gift, you'll receive one Hopi Hand Carved Cottonwood Feather from the group.

Individually handmade, please expect some differences from piece to piece.

While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. Alltribes Native American Art and Jewelry blends ancient history, natural beauty, and unparalleled expertise flawlessly. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time. Our dazzling, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise comes from a nearby mine in Globe, AZ. This unique and exceedingly rare turquoise is renowned for its hardness, durability, and gorgeous color. Our artisans preserve the natural beauty of this precious stone, so you can admire its elegance for years to come. A hand buffed polish protects the stones and heightens its natural beauty.
