Old Pawn 70s Natural Kingman Turquoise Nugget Watch Bracelet Cuff by Robert and Bernice Leekya

Featuring an Old Pawn Zuni Sterling Silver Watch Cuff with six all-natural Kingman turquoise nuggets, individually bezel set and arranged with balanced symmetry across the bracelet face. Crafted by Robert and Bernice Leekya, this piece reflects classic Zuni silversmithing with strong attention to traditional detail and form. Decorated with twist wire, bold sterling dots, and detailed fan elements that frame the new watch face. A hand-chiseled border runs along the edges of the bracelet. The nuggets display natural variation in color and matrix. Fitted with a brand-new Seiko watch, gently refurbished in our shop to ensure reliable function, preserving its original vintage integrity. The bracelet retains its circa 70s–80s character with minimal wear, it remains in excellent overall condition. Measures just over 1-1/2" wide with a slight taper toward both ends for a comfortable, natural fit on the wrist. Would best fit a wrist size 7-1/2". Signed by Robert and Bernice Leekya and stamped Sterling. This is a heavy-weight Old Pawn Zuni Sterling Silver Watch Cuff that showcases fine Zuni craftsmanship, combining collectible Old Pawn design with everyday wearable function.

Robert (b. 1934) and Bernice Leekya are a husband-and-wife jewelry team from Zuni Pueblo known for bold turquoise nugget designs and skilled channel inlay work. Robert, the son of renowned fetish carver Leekya Deyuse, began working in jewelry in 1953 and learned traditional techniques from his father. Together, Robert and Bernice have produced distinctive pieces that reflect the strong artistic heritage and lasting craftsmanship of Zuni jewelry.
