Turquoise Morgan Dollar Squash Blossom Necklace

This Turquoise Morgan Dollar Squash Blossom Necklace takes its inspiration from the old pawn, coin jewelry seen prior to 1950. In our shop, we designed and built this wonderful squash with the help of our stone cutter & real US coins. With a gorgeous Royston dangle at its center, the 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" Naja is hammered with traditional patterns. The six, dollar coins are dated between 1900-1921 and serve as the "blossoms". All are strung on a domed and hand seamed, Mercury Dime, bench bead strand. Royston beads provide spacing and it's finished with Sterling cones and an old style, handmade hook/eye. It's 28-1/4" end to end and is stamped Sterling and hallmarked. Authentic vintage, coin jewelry is extremely hard to find anymore & certainly out of reach for most budgets, so this Navajo made, Turquoise Morgan Dollar Squash Blossom Necklace is the next best thing and it's magnificent!

While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. Alltribes Native American Art and Jewelry blends ancient history, natural beauty, and unparalleled expertise flawlessly. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time.
