Vintage Hopi Left Hand Kachina Doll
This Vintage Hopi Left Hand Kachina Doll depicts the spirit dancer, who uses his left hand as his dominant is considered an excellent hunter. From his impressive head, showing fierce teeth to his banded body, he's quite a sight to behold. Bright turquoise arm band and belt add a vibrant touch to the muted presence of this dancer. Hand carved and hand painted, the cottonwood is 10-1/2" tall (includes base) and about 6" wide. The base is signed S. Tewanema, we could not identify the artist. This Vintage Hopi Left Hand Kachina Doll was professionally restored by Milton Howard.
