Vintage Hopi Mudhead Kachina Doll
This Vintage Hopi Mudhead Kachina Doll depicts Koyemsi, appears as a drummer for the chorus of singers between games at First Mesa. Hand carved and painted, he has a feather accent on each head gourd and he wears a fabric kerchief. He carries a tomtom and a beater and he wears a turquoise concho ring and a yarn trimmed skirt. He's about 16-1/2" tall (includes base) and 4-1/2" wide and there is a brass nameplate on the base and he's is in very good, used condition. This Vintage Hopi Mudhead Kachina Doll is part of a collection we purchased, and this would make a nice addition to your home or office!
