Zuni Turquoise Shell Kachina Y Necklace Set

This Zuni Turquoise Shell Kachina Y Necklace Set by Beverly Etsate depicts the Long Hair, a singer of sweet songs who brings rain and flowers. A wonderful display of patience and skill, each stone and shell piece is hand cut and appliqued in a dimensional, layered pattern. The Jet background is set with genuine Turquoise, Mother of Pearl, Gold Lip and Coral, and is finished with twist wire, drops and dangles. The center is 2-1/2" long and 1-1/4" wide. With the clasp, it's 18-1/2" long and is signed by the artist. The matching dangle earrings are 1-5/8" long (includes hook) and 5/8" wide. A beautiful ensemble to make any occasion special, this Zuni Turquoise Shell Kachina Y Necklace Set is one of a kind!

While most of our silversmiths are Navajo, we employ artists from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some work from home, on the reservation, and some work here in our shop. Alltribes Native American Art and Jewelry blends ancient history, natural beauty, and unparalleled expertise flawlessly. We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time. We are more than happy to offer curbside pickup if you are in the area, give us a call.

Our dazzling, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise comes from a nearby mine in Globe, AZ. This unique and exceedingly rare turquoise is renowned for its hardness, durability, and gorgeous color. Our artisans preserve the natural beauty of this precious stone, so you can admire its elegance for years to come. A hand buffed polish protects the stones and heightens its natural beauty.
