Buffalo Chief Cigar Store Indian

This Buffalo Chief Cigar Store Indian by Man Dan Indian, Frank Gallagher is an impressive display for your home or office! Hand carved and painted, this Native American is depicted wearing a long, bone breastplate, as he intently stares outward. Used as early as the 17th century to advertise tobacconists, you'll feel like you took a step back in time. He has a buffalo on his tunic top and he wears a "turquoise" necklace. The loincloth is decorated with traditional tribal patterns. He wears buckskin pants and moccasins and stands on a pow-wow drum base. About 4 feet tall and artist hallmarked. This Buffalo Chief Cigar Store Indian is the ultimate in western kitsch!

The Gallagher's use Aspen wood from Colorado to create these carved sculptures. With your purchase, you will receive a photocopy of an interview with Ralph Gallagher from the original June 1998 Issue of Arizona Highways magazine.

We are conveniently located near Scottsdale, Mesa and Phoenix, AZ in the historic town of Gilbert. Unfortunately, due to Covid and other factors, we are unable to take walk in customers at this time.
