Hopi Clown Kachina Doll

This vintage, Hopi Clown Kachina Doll is a delightful character depicted in hand carved and painted cottonwood. Both sacred and profane, the Koshari represents the overindulgence of everything, in this case...gluttony. The actions, while amusing, are not what anyone would like to be caught doing in public. You can't help but smile along with his engaging antics. A watermelon, medicine bag and jump rope provide traditional accents. About 17" tall (includes base) and 6-1/2" wide. This Hopi Clown Kachina Doll is signed Bill Hay and dated 95.

Unfortunately we do not have enough staff to take walk in customers but would be more than happy to schedule an appointment to come by the shop and check out some items in person.
