Navajo Silver Heartline Deer Bolo Tie
This Navajo Silver Heartline Deer Bolo Tie depicts traditional, tribal images that appeal to both Native American enthusiasts and nature lovers! Skillfully cut out with a hand saw and then stamped with Thomas' own handmade stamps, the magnificent animal is centered on a shield that is 2" long and 1-5/8" wide at the top. Finished with a satin buffing, it comes on a 4-ply leather cord and including the tips, it's about 44" long. Crafted from German Silver, it's hallmarked by Thomas A Begay. This Navajo Silver Heartline Deer Bolo Tie is the perfect neck-wear for any occasion!
Thomas (1955- ) was born in Many Farms, AZ. He learned the traditional style from his father but eventually switched over to Hopi overlay, a style that he has loved for as long as he could remember. His wife, Ilene (1948- ) sometimes helps him with the stamping.
