Vintage Nez Perce Beaded Bag Purse Buffalo Design
A beautiful example of the Nez Perce beading tradition. This Vintage Nez Perce Beaded Bag Purse depicts a carefully hand stitched scene of a mother buffalo nursing her calf on the open plains of the Columbia River Plateau. The whole scene is aptly framed in a heart shape border. Hand made from green and red corduroy fabric with leather fringe and strap. A unique example of the tribes traditional art. It's 11-1/2" wide and 10-1/2" tall, not including the fringe or strap. In excellent like new, original condition. This native craft was acquired from a collector who recently sold off his collection of Native American artwork and collectibles. We were lucky to to get first pick of these quality items. This Vintage Nez Perce Beaded Bag is absolutely stunning and it's one of a kind!
